The Texas Instruments TPS65381AQDAPRQ1 is an integrated high current Power Management Unit (PMU) designed to provide a comprehensive power management solution for high-performance, mobile and ultra-low-power applications. It provides a total solution designed to power sophisticated, real-time applications such as IoT, wearable, smart metering, and medical applications. The TPS65381AQDAPRQ1 integrates fully programmable buck-boost converters, battery charging and system control logic to make development of solutions for multiple power sources and battery charging much faster and easier. The PMU integrates highly efficient buck-boost converters with 4 independently programmable outputs, each with a programmable current of 5A with a total output of 20A and a programmable voltage range of 0.9V to 5.5V. It also includes a programmable 1-cell Li-Ion/Li-Poly battery charger with a current limit of minimum 1.5A and a voltage limit of 6V. The advanced system control logic provides an ultra low power 1.5µA operating current performance and a 1V to 5.5V programmable reset voltage. The TPS65381AQDAPRQ1 is designed according to the AEC-Q100 and is ideal for automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. It is available in a small PQFN (6mmx6mm) package.
